Mr Alazzawi joins World Experts in Arthroplasty
I had the honour of participating in the World Experts Meeting to Decipher Controversies in Joint Arthroplasty, which took place 30 – 31 August in the beautiful city of Istanbul. This event brought together arthroplasty surgeons from across the globe.
The meeting involved the presentation of the best available evidence on various aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty. Experts debated and voted on 64 key questions, aiming to reach a consensus on what constitutes the best clinical practice based on current data. These discussions were highly insightful, and the conclusions drawn will play a pivotal role in shaping future approaches to joint replacement surgery.
It was great catching up with colleagues and friends from around the world. A special note of appreciation goes to the organisers for their excellent hospitality. Istanbul, with its rich history and stunning architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for this world-class meeting.
