Mr Sulaiman Alazzawi was honoured to be invited to speak at the European Hip Society Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece.

He shared his extensive experience in using custom triflange implants to manage chronic pelvic discontinuity – one of the most complex and technically demanding challenges in revision hip surgery.

In addition to presenting, Mr Alazzawi chaired a session on complex primary total hip replacement and delivered a talk on his approach to performing total hip replacement following previous proximal femoral osteotomy. This scenario requires careful planning, advanced surgical expertise, and a tailored strategy for each patient.

With over 1,000 delegates in attendance, the conference served as an excellent forum for discussion and collaboration with orthopaedic specialists from across Europe, all focused on improving outcomes in complex hip reconstruction and joint surgery.
